Former student and postdoctoral scholar, Ashwin Venkataraman, received an Honorable Mention (placed joint-second) in the prestigious 2019 George B. Dantzig Dissertation Award for his dissertation “Rethinking Customer Segmentation and Demand Learning in the Presence of Sparse, Diverse, and Large-scale Data.“
